Anyone else getting this? Works fine with no mods. Maybe ill try loading with one mod at a time or something Showing 1 - 15 of 26 comments. Clockwork View Profile View Posts. Are the mods compatible with Skyrim Special Edition?
All the mods need to be updated for the new game. Last edited by Clockwork ; 28 Oct, pm. I'm loading all the mods from the in game browser Geeves View Profile View Posts. Also, nobody can help you if you don't list what mods you are running.
Very few mods for SE so far in comparison but they are creeping back on Nexus. I had the same problem, fixed it by moving alternate start to the end of my load order. Originally posted by Bloodbath89 :.
Yea all the issues I had were entirely my load order. Just curious, does anyone know if load order could cause this issue for no the first game but subsequent games? I want to start a second character, I wasn't changing any of the mods I have them all the same as the first game, and this happens every time.
Oh, I forgot to say that I had the same issue as you and to get my second playthrough to start, I had to remove all mods except Alternate Start as I wanted to use it to start a new gameloaded into the game, chose my character and before you select the statue, save game and load all your mods and don't forget to sort them using LOOT.

New Game Plus
Change language. Install Steam. Store Page. Global Achievements. Brutalis View Profile View Posts. Hi all. So I've made it into end game, got all the cool gear and what-not but now I've got nothing to do.
Is there any way, like via commands or by moving things around in Windows Explorer, to move my end-game character to a new save so I can do all the quests and stuff? Or can I reset the world I'm currently in to allow me to repeat every quest?

If theres not a mod you can give yourself all the levels and perks you have via console commands and do the same with giving yourself inventory items as well. Originally posted by Nazenn :. I've never tried it myself but if you really want your old character in a new game, might be interesting for you. Incunabulum View Profile View Posts. Originally posted by EKT-Brutalis :. I can say for certain it works as ive done it myself while testing various mods. Also you'll notice I said you can also give yourself levels, which means if you do that you wont break stuff by adding perks, and even if you dont want to add the direct perks, you can just add perk points.

Wouldn't take much from the game either way. Showing 1 - 15 of 16 comments. Gunner View Profile View Posts. You can keep on playing forever, well after you finished the main story. Riftweaver View Profile View Posts. But there isn't much fun in playing forever if you are doing the same minor missions over and over. Granted the DLC's will probably add a lot more stuff to do and as I said mods.
I had the exact same question One way to do this is take note from your current skills then starta new game normally then, when you finally get out of the vault change your stats via console. Chop View Profile View Posts. Originally posted by bakasora :.

The smoke in the main menu is blue as you can see from my screenshots and all the characters are blue and so are the buildings Ive reinstalled the game 3 times made sure to delete the game manually and with steam on the third time so that there were 0 files left and the game is still glitchy and blue.
Showing 1 - 12 of 12 comments. Are you using any mods? Thats why i specifically stated i reinstalled it. Onto the question, though. That's not blue, sir, that's purple. If stuff is purple then it means missing or corrupted textures. Uninstall all your mods via your mod manager 2. Uninstall the game with Steam 3. Delete folder Skyrim there 8. Install the game through Steam from a Steam backup or download from scratch, do not use your own backup even if you have one If that doesn't work then you've got some SERIOUS problem that goes beyond some loose files.
Maybe contact Bethesda? Oh, and don't forget to update your GPU drivers.

What GPU graphics card do you have, anyway? Sometimes purple textures can be caused by lack of VRAM memory.Home Discussions Workshop Market Broadcasts. Change language.

The list could potentially include where to get the item and which quest it comes from and is used for but I understand why that would be very time consuming so I wouldn't expect it.
As a plan B for glitches, items could be removed from the list manually but obviously this would go with a warning that you should never do that unless you know for a fact what you are doing. If plan B doesn't fix a particular glitch, console command which already exist could be used to spawn items or manually progress quests.
In order to keep a quest completed, all prerequisite quest would need to be marked completed and all quest items for those quests would need to either already be in your inventory, or be placed there.
Obviously these items would need to be removed from the new world or be placed on the list. However, since some items aren't in the world and must be given to you during a quest, I would suggest removing those items from the world if they are there to avoid an item being placed on the list with no way to get it.
It would be possible to manually opt out of having the prerequisite quest completed in addition to the target quest but, once again, this would have to be after a big warning saying you must know exactly what you are doing. I would suggest having support for the Unbound Mod because this would go very well with that.
I'm no script modder at all but if any of you have the experience to do this, give it a shot because people will love it. Or, if you know someone else who can do it, show them this post. What do you guys think? Would you do it differently? Did I miss something? Got anything to add? Do you hate me and everything I stand for? Tell me down below. Showing 1 - 15 of 18 comments.

View Profile View Posts. This sounds way too glitchy to ever be made, you're better off using the console command on new game, and give yourself level X, perk X and armor X. Yea not only did I go through all the ways to avoid glitchiness and it would take days to use console commands to do that not to mention how you'd still have enchant armor and weapons and you would end up spawning quest items that would cause issues. The best Skyrim mods can change the game in countless ways.
From visual upgrades to new quests, changing combat, companions, travel and much much more. The original game might be nine odd years old but a good Skyrim mod can upgrade the experience immeasurably.
There's a world of Skyrim improvements and tweaks ahead of you in our list of the best Skyrim mods below, we've included instructions to set everything up on every platform, listed what each mod works on and obviously linked out to everything you need. Installing Skyrim mods on console is actually quite easy, but first, you need to make a Bethesda. Next time you boot up Skyrim, load a game and go to the main menu. Next thing you need to do is head back over to the Bethesda site.
For convenience, you can access the Skyrim mods page here. This is important because some mods interfere with the performance of others, so one might need to be loaded earlier than the rest.

Elder Scrolls 6 : release date, trailer, news, and everything else we know. Those of you who have finished Skyrim should head immediately to Falskaar.
Considering it's the size of a DLC and that it landed its creator a job at Bungie, the fact that it's on this list shouldn't be that surprising. As the harbinger of an ancient prophecy minus any special powersyou have to bring peace back to Falskaar - but nothing is ever as simple as it seems This is the best story mod out there, in my honest opinion.
Stuck in an underground town overseen by old automated Dwemer moral police system, you just have to find a way out. Sounds simple, doesn't it? Oh, just you wait The Dwemer don't really get enough time dedicated to them in Skyrim, despite being the most enigmatic race to ever grace Nirn.
Yet this strange mansion you stumble upon is run by two of their contraptions Guess you'd better find out what's gone on! Moonpath to Elsweyr connects Skyrim to the vast deserts of the feline Khajiit. Here, you can bask under azure skies and hunt ferocious raptors in wild tangles of bush and jungle. This was actually one of the first quest mods ever made for Skyrim, but has recently started receiving regular updates again, making it one of the best mods around at the moment. Do you remember the days you spent wandering around Bruma back when Mehrunes Dagon threatened to destroy Tamriel in Oblivion?
Well, now you can go back to Bruma from Skyrim. With over 70 residents, Bruma looks better and feels more alive than ever before.
The bloody Stones of Barenziah. This quest sat in my tray for the time it took me to complete all the major quests and a chunk of the sidequests, and I had only found about six. This mod is essential if you want to get all of the stones and find out what mysterious item they make in the end. Completely worth it. My god, I cannot emphasise enough how much better this mod made Skyrim.Gotten your fill of Skyrim's official quests?
Tired of repeating adventures you've done before? Looking for some new locations to explore and conquer? Start right here. Download link. Legacy of the Dragonborn adds a gallery in Solitude where you can keep mementos of your time in Skyrim.
It's a museum about you, with space for almost every unique item in the game. All those quest rewards and Daedric artifacts you went to so much trouble to earn but don't use can be displayed in a beautiful building with its own library, store room and more. The curator hands out quests to help fill it, there's an entire archeology system with its own perks, and Legacy is compatible with several major quest mods like Moonpath, Moon and Star, and Undeath so you can display items from those as well.
The only downside is that it won't recognize items received before installing it, so it's worth starting a fresh save. Miss the arena? This quest mod adds a group of pit fighters you can join to the Gray Quarter of Windhelm, each of them voice-acted.
The bouts take place in bespoke arenas outside the bounds of the map, and you can choose to fight one-on-one, against teams, or against wild animals. You'll have to wait between fights, so it's a good faction to visit in between other questlines. If you use the Open Cities mod download this version insteadand make sure to read the notes on that page to get the voices working. Want your own flying ship?
Yeah, course you do. This takes the airship model from the Moonpath to Elsweyr quest mod and combines it with the interactions from a separate skyship mod to make the best flying fantasy you'll get. The Dev Aveza is docked behind Solitude, and once it's yours can be flown all over the map. It's a much easier way to get to the top of the Throat of the World than walking, and it's got room on board for all your belongings.
Steam link. This total conversion mod creates an entirely new world, very nearly the size of Skyrim itself, and populates it with new dungeons, quests, monsters, and fully-voice NPCs. You can read about the opening hours of Enderal here. This mod solves that problem. Ever wanted to tell the Blades to get bent when they tell you to kill your dragon bro? Well, now you can! With this mod from Arthmoor, you now have the option to explain matters to the Blades and make them see reason although you might have to get a bit forceful—darn.
Adds in a lot of content that Bethesda cut before release, including NPCs, dialogue, items, quests, and locations like villages, towers, farms, mills, and more.
